"Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice" didn't turn out to be a hit among fans contrary to what Warner Bros. would have expected and this sparked rumors that the company needs a complete revamp.

No prizes for guessing, Warner Bros. delved into the alleged flash in the pan called "Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice," and following it rumor mills are swirling speculations that the company might go through an overhaul in its management. As producer Charles Roven threw in the towel, critically acclaimed comic book writer Geoff Johns is at the helm. Johns is the writer responsible for "DC Universe: Rebirth."

Strong rumors doing rounds hint Production Chief Greg Silverman is on the verge of losing his position citing his negative spree in 2015 with failed profiles, MovieNewsGuide reported.

Marketing and Distribution Head, Susan Kroll may have to step down soon as well. Not surprisingly at all, CEO Kevin Tsujihara did'nt carry the failure of "Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice" in the box office.

Warner Bros. may now be counting on the next big thing for the DC Universe - The third installment in the DC Extended Universe, "Suicide Squad." As far as the good guy vs. good guy fracas was concerned, it was outclassed by Marvel's "Captain America: Civil War."

Aside from this, the DC Universe counts on its current series such as "Gotham," "The Flash," "Arrow" and "Supergirl."

Although "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" impaired with poor storytelling, the producers released an extended cut along with the home release.

Dubbed as the "Ultimate Edition," the extended cut runs 30 minutes longer and is R-rated citing the violence that surpasses the theatrical version, NDTV Gadgets reported.

Warner Bros. debuted the trailer on Thursday, June 2, and few of the extra footage tease the North African presence as well as the addition of Jena Malone's character - the one sporting black frames and addressing Lois Lane in the video.
