On Friday night, student Aniya Wolf was kicked out of her prom, and warned by Bishop McDevitt High School officials that they would call the cops if she did not leave the school premises. What had she done wrong? She arrived in a tux!

On the other hand, the Harrisburg Catholic School said that a dress code was sent to parents in February then got reminder in March, more months before the prom date. Then the school added that when the news was brought to the attention of the school administration that a female student was setting up to wear a tuxedo, the school officials contacted her mother in hopes that the situation could be resolved.

Meanwhile, Carolyn Wolf, Aniya's mother said to ABC, she was not aware that the dress code meant her daughter had to wear a dress. Nonetheless, they went out and bought a new suit. She even thought that her daughter is beautiful in a suit, Carolyn told the station.

And despite the restrictions, Aniya chose to defy the dress code and attend the prom that she had looked forward to for months on the night of May 6 in a tux. That's when the confrontation with her principal took place. She did not understand how the dress code permitted girls wore revealing dresses and was ruled acceptable under the dress code and not a tuxedo that covered her all up. She believed that her experience should not be any different than anyone else's due to something she was born with, Aniya told reporters after she was booted out the event.

In solidarity with Aniya, friends and supporters shown support through the social media criticizing the unfair and depriving experience for the young girl who only wanted to go in her prom wearing herself in a tux.

Here are some of the messages Aniya got from the social media, share yours in the comment section below:
