"Phantom Dust" To Be Released On Microsoft Platforms Soon

Microsoft has some good news for old school console gamers, especially the fans of Yukio Futatsugi. Xbox marketing Aaron Greenberg said that "Phantom Dust" will be released soon on Xbox One and Windows 10. The best part of this deal is that the price for purchasing this game will be absolutely free, Dual Shockers reported.

"Phantom Dust" Will Be an Xbox Play Anywhere Title

The marketing guru clarified that the old classic port "Phantom Dust" will be an Xbox Play Anywhere video game. Players will be able to enjoy the game's related feature, which will include the cross-platform play.

"Phantom Dust" History Details Revealed

"Phantom Dust" is a classic video game title originally released for Microsoft's old classic home console Xbox way back in 2004. There were no updates or news about any development after its initial release, but Microsoft suddenly unveiled that there will be an Xbox One remake of the video game during their E3 2014 presentation. Unfortunately, the project was abruptly brought down to a halt with the closure of the developer Darkside Games, but they replaced it with this new port.

"Phantom Dust" First Trailer Revealed

After the announcement of "Phantom Dust" getting released soon, Microsoft Game Studios released a new trailer for the port. The video showcases tons of gameplay with its new and higher resolution, which surprisingly improves it a lot. It has an enhanced frame rate and a 16:9 aspect ratio on top of its original Xbox release, Dual Shockers reported in another post.
