Naughty Dog Teases 'The Last Of Us 2' Fans Of Possible New Horseplay Combat Gameplay Feature [VIDEO]

By

"The Last of Us 2" game director Neil Druckmann has recently revealed a really good tease for the fans. He gave a hint that the game might include combat on horseback, which will definitely make it another unique experience for the fans that are waiting for some news.

"The Last Of Us 2" Horseback Combat Might Get Included

Druckmann tweeted recently an image that showed an update of their work with "The Last of Us 2" development. He was together with former "Westworld" writer Halley Gross, which has become the co-writer for the sequel. The recent image might have revealed what could be a potential gameplay feature in the game.

The photo revealed Gross was on top of a makeshift horse that maybe was used for a mocap session, or it was used for some visual inspiration for the writers in a particular scene. She was also holding a fake shotgun. Fans added the two factors and they came up with the theory that "The Last of Us 2" heroine Ellie will be wielding a gun and fighting enemies while riding a horse, Game Rant reported.

"The Last Of Us 2" Still In Early Development

While the recent tweet was a good sign that Naughty Dog is definitely adding some new features to "The Last of Us2," the game developers said that it is still in very early development. Fans will have to wait for a little while before they can get to play the full game.

"The Last Of Us 2" Gets "Westworld" Actress

In other "The Last of Us 2" related news, a "Westworld" actress has recently joined the crew. Aside from the former writer of the recent TV series, actress Shannon Woodward will be joining in as one of the characters in it, IGN reported.

Woodward played Elsie in the recently concluded "Westworld." Though she was wearing a mocap suit for a session, there were no details about what character she was playing and any connections to the first one, Gamespot reported.
