Good news for thousands of "GTA 5 Online" ou there, developer Rockstar Games has just announced another major update this week, dubbed the Land Grab mode. This week, GTA 5 Online players will be receiving their new Land Grab game mode, adding new turf gameplay to the mix. The Land Grab will hit today on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

In the new Land Grab update, there will be four GTA teams claiming a territory and the team with the most territory at the buzzer will be declared a winner. Additionally, Rockstar Games is also giving bonus here, Land Grab players will be receiving double GTA$ and RP, starting April 11 to April 24, The Express reported.

But the biggest story for this week is not the newly released update, it's the upcoming "GTA 5 Online" update, which is expected to arrive within this week across all gaming platforms. Rockstar called it, the Gun Runner DLC. The upcoming update is expected to bring a number of interesting stuff along with some big improvements on board.

According to Rockstar Games, the upcoming Gun Runner expansion will bring new missions, weaponized vehicles and more, however, there still no words on the exact release date. But reports said that it will be released sometime in the summer. For this, Rockstar Games plans to make some major announcement, probably within this week.

In addition to the new missions and weaponized vehicles, Rockstar Games has also announced that a network dependency update will be coming to "GTA 5 Online" that will focus on fixing all the network issues the GTA players experienced every day. Rockstar made some announcement about this update on the GTANetwork, detailing everything about this network-focused update.

Meanwhile, a new "GTA 5 Online" exploit has been discovered that will allows hackers to steal a vast amount of in-game dollars from other players. This newly discovered exploit has forced some GTA players to stay offline until the game received its fix, Kotaku reported.

The gaming website also added that the new exploit has also provided hackers the ability to give players illegitimate RP. Before, game hackers can only drop money for players or spawn rare vehicles, but now it's different and much smarter. GTA hackers are said to use some kind of third party software known as "mod menus," this made the game cheating even more devious.

Developer Tustin, who already made some PS3 "GTA 5" mod menu, has made some god conversation with gaming site Kotaku. According to the developer, there's one big scary part of the newly discovered exploit- that is it can easily add to mod menus with less effort. This means only one thing, the chance for the new exploit to spread across gaming platforms is big and real.

Fortunately, Rockstar Games is keen on addressing some issues on "GTA 5 Online" game. To deal with the newly discovered exploit, the game developer has launched a support page with messages saying that Rockstar Games is actively working on a fix for this issue. Thankfully, Rockstar has managed to fix issues with "GTA 5 Online" relatively quickly but has not provided a timeframe for this.

In another gaming-related story, Rockstar Games have not mentioned anything about "GTA 6" this year, so there are big chances that the sequel has not yet entered the development stage. Reports said that the "GTA 6" might arrive sometime in 2020 or early 2021. This also means that Rockstar Games will most likely keep updating the existing "GTA 5 Online" game until the sequel makes a touchdown.
