Since iPhones have become large in size today, Apple has reportedly decided to beef up the size of iPad Mini. As a result, the search giant has decided to release the 9.7-inch iPad or iPad 2017 last March with some serious specs and features mash-up but more affordable.

iPad Mini have become more obsolete as the years go by not to mention the iPad Mini 4 which is considered as mediocre by some Apple fans. For this reason, the Cupertino tech giant has decided to release the 9.7-inch iPad to replace the iPad Mini as well as the iPad Air based on presumptions.

Fortunately, the 9.7-inch iPad fits he consumers' taste thus; it is believe to be more saleable than the regular iPad. In fact, more product reviews suggest that if the iPad (2017) has made the iPad Pro 2 irrelevant and needless to buy, MacWorld reported.

So, what makes the 9.7-inch iPad interesting? The answer lies in the mashed up specs of the device which includes A9 chip from the iPhone 6s, impressive camera from iPad Air 2 and size and weight similar to iPad Air except for the physical lock switch of the latter.

To be more specific, the 9.7-inch iPad sports a glass and aluminum exterior available in the following colors: gold, silver and space grey. The device has an outstanding LCD display with 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution, thus, the very crisp-looking test.

Under the hood is a 1.84 GHz dual-core Apple A9 64-bit processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage for the base model. It runs the latest software iOS 10.3.1 and supports Bluetooth 4.2 and Dual band Wi-Fi, Notebook Review reported.

To sum it all, the 9.7-inch iPad is a combination of specs and features from different iPad products. Meanwhile, fans are waiting for the release of 9.7-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2 which is presumed to launch during Apple's spring event on May.
