Since "Pokemon GO" involves eggs, netizens hopes for Niantic to throw an Easter Event a week from now. The event could come as a surprise to players with Niantic expected to introduce new features of the game such as co-op, raids and gym changes.

There's no other way to uplift the spirit of "Pokemon GO" players this coming Easter rather than for Niantic to throw a themed-event. Although the developer refuses to say anything about it, players believe that it could come as a surprise.

In relation to that, "Pokemon GO" players expect the following from Niantic for the presumed activity: store sale most specifically discounted price for lucky eggs, reduce on the required distance to hatch an egg and increase drop rate of lucky eggs, Heavy reported.

Furthermore, "Pokemon GO" players also expect higher spawn rate for Pokemon that relates to the event. For example, pink Pokemon received frequent spawning during the Valentines' Day which is also expected to happen with Blissey, Chansey and Eggsecute.

On the other hand, Niantic is also expected to introduce new features in the presumed "Pokemon GO" Easter event. While Niantic hints about the "Co-op" feature, dataminers have discovered about the changes in gym through the phrases associated in the program code, Polygon reported.

Niantic reveals that "Pokemon GO" Cooperative social gameplay or "Co-op" will be available for single-player with the aim to attract more players and gained back those who backed out. "Raids" is said to be part of the new gym system where everyone is encouraged for a coordinated raids.

Despite the silence of Niantic, netizens continue to hope for an Easter event few days from now. To recall, the company has held three "Pokemon GO" themed events since last years' Thanksgiving in Nov. 21, Christmas in Dec. 23 and Valentines' Day in Feb. 8 of this year. However, others expect Niantic to escape the Easter event since it is a Christian holiday.
