HTC is currently offering their HTC Vive virtual reality headset with a discount of $100 from its original price of $800. The VR headset is running a sale due to its celebration of its first year anniversary.

The $100 discount for the HTC Vive VR headset will only be effective for one day only on April 5, and it will be applicable for new customers. That day was the release date of the VR headset last year. The headset package will also come with a pair of wireless controllers for consumers to use, reported GameSpot.

HTC Vive VR Free Month Subscription And Details

For the year-one customers who have been with Vive for a year already, they will be getting a free month of Viveport Subscription. This will be one of the new additions for the first Vive Day. It will allow the customers to pay $6.99 a month and choose five titles from their library of curated content, according to the official blog of Vive.

Consumers will be able to get unlimited access to the apps they choose or they can just choose their own selection every month. The apps that are available in the subscription are also available for sale, and they can also try out an app before they decide to purchase it.

HTC Vive Celebrates With Free VR Game

To celebrate the birthday of the HTC Vive VR headset, the studio is giving back to the fans with a free VR game. All of the year-one Vive purchasers will be able to get a free copy of Vive Studio's VR action game "Arcade Saga," which has a value of $20 on Viveport. This was developed by their internal studio 2Bears Studios.
