iOS 10.3 internal code has revealed that the highly anticipated iPad Pro 10.5-inch variant would be available with a faster refresh rate. The upcoming Apple device is said to roll out during Apple's Spring event this April 2017.

The internal code of iOS 10.3 appears to reveal that iPad Pro 10.5-inch, which is said to launch during Apple's Spring event, will have a faster refresh rate. The existing iPad's screen offer a refresh rate of 60Hz and support for 60fps. Nonetheless, a higher refresh rate would allow the upcoming iPad Pro 10.5-inch model to support VR games and have better performance via Apple Pencil stylus. The iOS 10.3 latest developer edition would be able to provide the upcoming iPads with a faster frame rate than 60fps.

The iOS 10.3 beta version suggests that the developers can provide multiple display modes, such as default, 30fps and 60fps. It means that the default setting will not be 30fps and 60fps. Wherein, the refresh rate of the upcoming iPad Pro 10.5-inch would be higher than 60Hz, according to Cult of Mac.

It has been said that the 10.5-inch iPad Pro variant is a go, Forbes reported. Nevertheless, the Director for Tablets and PCs at IHS Markit Rhoda Alexander, stated that due to the smaller bezel of the iPad Pro 10.5-inch, the device is expected to be the same size as the iPad Pro 9.7 model. Alexander also stated that the display resolution will bump up from 2048 x 1536 ppi to 2224 x 1668, which means that the upcoming iPad Pro 10.5-inch model will have a much more vivid display.

Furthermore, Apple will reportedly start the production of the 10.5-inch iPad Pro this month so that the device will be launched in time for the tech titan's spring event. On the contrary, some speculations claim that the 10.5-inch iPad Pro will be announced this June at Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC 2017).
