iOS 10.3 Beta Code Accidentally Teases The Upcoming 10.5-inch iPad; iOS 10.3 Official Software Arrives In iPhones Very Soon [VIDEO]

By

The code in the Apple's iOS 10.3 beta has reportedly indicated the 10.5-inch iPad could deliver a faster display refresh rate. Apple could launch the rumored 10.5-inch iPad anytime soon.

App developer Steve Troughton-Smith posted on his Twitter account about his discovery when he examined the iOS 10.3 beta codes. Although Troughton-Smith did not specifically claimed that he found codes for a highly anticipated 10.5-inch iPad, but the app developer is now reasonably convinced that the Cupertino based tech titan could be launching a new 10.5-inch iPad with a screen refresh rate higher than 60Hz.

The discovery of Troughton-Smith gave credence to the report published last year, claiming that the tech company could be rolling out a 10.5-inch iPad with faster display technology, according to 9 To 5 Mac. The current iPad Pro accepts input from the Apple Pencil's 240 hertz which cannot really update that quickly. This goes to show that Apple could be boosting the refresh rates of the screen for the new iOS device. The higher frame rate is also being linked to the tech giant's desire to take advantage of the virtual reality technology.

Meanwhile, the new iOS 10.3 appears to be just around the corner and the mobile operating system will arrive on a person's iPhones very soon. Reports about the iOS 10.3 release surfaced after Apple scheduled a maintenance on its online store, App Advice reported. Nonetheless, iPhone users are advised to have a complete backup prior to upgrading to Apple's new operating system.

In doing so, the iPhone users must update their file system to the Apple File System (APFS). It might sound risky for the iOS device, but APFS promises to offer a huge improvement. The update comes along with more accurate time stamps, an optimization for solid state storage and a stronger encryption. Moreover, the update will be a perfect fit to modern computing demands.
