Square Enix is set to roll out the first downloadable content (DLC) of "Final Fantasy XV" and it will be about Gladio against Gilgamesh. The video game company has released the Gladio DLC official trailer and it is the first time that FFXV players can directly control the character.

The Episode Gladiolus DLC of "Final Fantasy XV" was unveiled at the gaming convention PAX East event. "Final Fantasy XV" fanatics were surprised to see Gilgamesh without his multiple arms and his signature armor. Nevertheless, as the game developer released the Episode Gladio DLC official trailer, the DLC drops on March 28 and Gladiolus will go head to head against the one-armed antagonist, according to IGN. "Final Fantasy XV" Episode Gladiolus happens in the events after their encounter with the Ravus where Gladio is training to become stronger.

The character, background and story of Gladiolus is much different compared to the main protagonist of "Final Fantasy XV," Noctis. The "Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV" animated series pitch in a little more about Gladiolus. Nonetheless, the character's unique episode DLC will showcase the struggle of Gladiolus to attain the power in order to protect his loved ones, WWG reported.

On the other hand, DLC producer Haruyoshi Sawatari made it known that other DLC packs of "Final Fantasy XV" that focused on other characters are not in the works, Game Spot has learned. Nevertheless, the DLC producer did note that this year is all about giving back to their fan base. Sawatari even acknowledges that Aranea (guest party member in FFXV) has been mentioned frequently as a character who could have her own DLC pack. Aside from Aranea, there is also one other character to have its own "Final Fantasy XV" DLC pack.

At this point, it appears that a number of "Final Fantasy XV" players have revealed that they would like to see some other characters to get their own DLC packs.
