iPad Air 3 News: 9.7in iPad With A9 Processor To Launch Before March Ends Could Possibly Be The iPad Air 3 [VIDEO]

It's been years since Apple's prestigious iPad Air lineup received a significant upgrade. In spite of that, the rumor mill keeps on stirring a slew of speculations around iPad Air 3's specs, price and release date. The recently surfaced report claims that the tech giant would announce the new iPads on April 4 at Apple Park's Steve Jobs Theater.

As there haven't been leaks regarding an impending 7.9in iPad, some tech experts believe that the Cupertino based tech company could opt to only roll out the iPad Pros and not the iPad Air 3 2017. Nonetheless, that appears to be highly unlikely. It seems like the tech giant will not drift away from the rumored four new iPad Pro variants, such as the 7.9-in, 9.7-in, 10.5-in and 12.9-in models, according to PC Advisor.

Except for the 10.5-inch iPad Pro model, all other variants are slated to ship before March ends. The 10.5-inch variant of the devices may not ship until May 2017. Rumor has it that the purported 9.7-inch iPad Pro variant could actually be the highly anticipated Apple iPad Air 3.

Nonetheless, as Apple launched the iPad Air 2 with some changes, the iPad Air 3 is highly anticipated to come along with a major upgrade. In terms of the iPad Air 3 specs, the device is expected to roll out with a A9X chip, Apple Pencil support, a 4-speaker audio system among others. The iPad Air 3 is speculated to have a 2048×1536 screen resolution. The iPad Air 3 is also expected to have a top-notch camera feature, TNH Online reported.

If the tech giant will launch the iPad Air 3 in 2017, Apple's new tablet might have a price tag of $487 for the 32GB model, which is the standard price for the full-size Apple iPad. In spite of that, until the Cupertino based tech company reveals the official specs and other details of the iPad Air 3, iPad enthusiasts will have to continue digging for the possible iPad Air 3 2017 specs.
