The LG G6 Android smartphone will reportedly be at par with Samsung's Galaxy S7 Edge. The components of the two handsets are noticeably comparable. LG Electronics Inc. will release the LG G6 in just a matter of weeks.

Samsung launched the Galaxy S7 Edge in March 2016, while the LG company unveiled the LG G6 Android smartphone at the MWC 2017 event in February, and the device is expected to be released in the early weeks of April. The LG G6 and the Galaxy S7 Edge smartphones were launched almost a year apart. Nonetheless, it is noticeable that the components of the two smartphones are highly comparable.

The LG G6 is said to be the nicest smartphone the company has ever built. The LG G6 smartphone comes along with a huge 5.7-inch QHD+ screen, as well as an 18:9 aspect ratio and a very compact build. Both front and back of LG's upcoming smartphone is covered with a glass surface. Nonetheless, the handset has an innovative, fun-to-use dual camera on the back, which is different from its rivals' cameras, Mashable reported.

In terms of processor, the LG G6 will outperform the S7 Edge's Snapdragon 820 with its Qualcomm's Snapdragon 821. It has been said that the difference of LG G6 processor is a meager 10 percent. Both the LG G6 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge are on the same level when it comes to memory. The two smartphones have a 4GB of RAM and a 32GB of internal storage.

The difference of LG G6 and Galaxy S7 Edge is their microSD card support, which the Galaxy S7 edge is only up to 256GB, while 2TB for the LG G6. Another comparable aspect of the devices is the display screen, as LG G6 comes along with a larger display screen compared to Galaxy S7 Edge, according to LG News Room. In spite of that, both devices have the same dust and water resistant with an IP68 rating.
