iOS 11 News: iOS 11 Will Reportedly Launch With Dark Mode, Group FaceTime Calling, Split-Screen Apps and More [VIDEO]

By

Apple Inc. is set to introduce the iOS 11 at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2017 event. What's particularly intriguing about the next version of iOS is that Apple device users curiously don't know much of anything about it. Nonetheless, tech fans are already speculating about the features of the iOS 11.

An editor at My Apple Jacek Zięba, shared a video showcasing his concept for iOS 11 that provides a glimpse at how the iPhone smartphone could look with the operating system's features, such as dark mode, split-screen apps and group FaceTime calling. The concept video of My Apple editor shows off dark mode feature that would level up the typically vibrant platform into a more muted one to ease the user's eyes at night. Users have been longing for the dark mode feature for some time, and the Cupertino based tech giant has been rumored to be working on the feature for some time now.

Nevertheless, as Apple has been tight-lipped about the features of its upcoming mobile operating system, Zięba's video concept appears to depict what the upcoming iOS 11 might look like. Now, tech fans have an idea as to what the iOS 11 features, such as enhanced Siri functionality, a system-wide Dark Mode option and improved 3D toggles, might look like, BGR reported. In spite of that, the iPhone Split Screen feature appears to be the most intriguing aspect of Zięba's video concept. Wherein, the feature would enable Apple device users to watch a YouTube video while checking email or browsing the internet.

Furthermore, based on the video concept, other enhancements of the iOS 11 will include improved 3D Touch Control Center support, a game mode for alerts, as well as better storage management, 9 To 5 Mac reported. While reports regarding the iOS 11 are light so far, the video is a wonderful little concept and something which iOS fans will firmly stand behind.
