Middle-Earth 'Shadow Of War' Shares New Game Details, To Add Two Story Expansion And More [VIDEO]

Middle-earth "Shadow of War" getting some buzz this week. Producer Warner Bros. this week has released the first official gameplay video for Middle-earth "Shadow of War." The sequel to 2014's hit "Shadow of Mordor," Middle-earth "Shadow of War" is set for release later this year on PC and consoles.

It seems like publisher Warner Bros. cannot keep the game's details secret, as another new Youtube trailer has been leaked online. However, the new trailer is no longer available online, but Reddit user Magnumnumnum has managed to take some screenshots and shared it to the net.

The trailer doesn't reveal much information about the game, but it does show the main character Talion riding a winged beast, possibly a Drake. At the end of the trailer, it shows Talion raising his sword with hundreds of Orcs behind him.

In addition to the newly released gameplay trailer, the game's PC system requirements have also been made available online along with some details of the game's Silver Edition, which will include the two Nemesis Expansions, according to GameSpot. Additionally, the new Middle-earth game is also set to receive two story expansions, in which both of them have included in the Gold Edition.

The following are the minimum PC system requirements:

  • Operating System: Windows 7 SP1 with Platform Update for Windows 7
  • System Processor: Intel i5- 2550K (3.4 GHz)
  • System Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce 670 or AMD Radeon HD 7950
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Connectivity: Broadband Connection
  • System Storage: Must have 60 GB of available space

For the highly recommended PC system requirements:

  • Operating System: Windows 10 version 14393.102 or higher OS version
  • System Processor: Intel Core i7-3770 (3.4 GHz)
  • System Memory: at least 16 GB RAM
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce 970 or GeForce 1060 and AMD Radeon R9 290X or AMD Radeon RX 480
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • System Storage: must have 60 GB of available space

A sequel to 2014's hit "Shadow of Mordor," the Middle-earth "Shadow of War" was first announced earlier this year. The new Middle-earth game, which set between the events of "The Hobbit" and "The Lord of the Rings," feature an original story in the Middle-earth universe, and will see the return of Talion and his ghostly companion Celebrimbor.

Developed by Monolith Productions and published by Warner Bros., the game offers a richer and expansive world for "Shadow of War," where players can expect to see iconic locations, original enemy types, a new cast of characters with untold stories and more. Middle-earth "Shadow of War" is set for launch on August 25 on PC (Steam and Windows 10), PS4 and Xbox One.
