‘Dragon Quest Heroes II’: Coming To Steam And PC; Early Adopters Get Tons Of Freebies [Video]

Square Enix confirmed that "Dragon Quest Heroes II" would be released concurrently on Steam for PC and for the PS4 on April 25. Players who pre-order the game will receive exclusive content that will no longer be available at a later date.

The exclusive content for those who will pre-order "Dragon Quest Heroes II," receives a day one bonus called "Explorer's Edition." This limited version is available only for pre-orders received through Square Enix Online Store or the PlayStation Store. According to Gamespot, Early adopters on both platforms gets to 15 in-game bonuses consisting of additional in-game weapons listed below:

  •  Slime Stack Stick
  •  Night Club
  •  Royal Flush
  •  Slime Knight's Shield
  •  Shadowblade
  •  Gem Slime Sword
  •  Robo-Bow

  •  Great Sabreclaws
  •  Golem Gauntlets
  •  Robo-Racer
  •  Imp's Fork

According to Gematsu, the Explorer's Edition will also carry with it few other neat goodies: a reversible cover art and an adventure log. For PlayStation users, Square Enix will provide an exclusive console theme, a costume and a "Healix the Hero" recipe. It can be used in Dragon Quest Builders.

"Dragon Quest Heroes II" follows the same RPG style of the original "Dragon Quest Heroes," however, new elements are added to the game such as, new playable main characters from "Dragon Quest's" franchise history.

Meanwhile, Square Enix just released "Dragon Quest Heroes II's" new OverviewTrailer. It details the vastness of the game's interconnected environments and landscapes, tons of characters and customizable classes, plus the four players online co-op multiplayer "Dragon Quest Heroes II" offers, a feature that was not available in the original "Dragon Quest.".

"Dragon Quest Heroes II's" multiplayer capabilities is welcomed change since the first game was good though lacked the functionality. Omega Force, a division of Koei Tecmo, developed "Dragon Quest Heroes" franchise.
