‘Cities: Skylines’ Expanding Its Horizons And Coming To Xbox One And Windows 10

"Cities: Skylines" by Paradox Interactive has recently announced its hugely popular game will debut to console via Xbox One. Alongside the release of the game to console, it will also come with a Windows 10 version.

"Cities: Skylines," a best-selling city building and management game became hugely popular when it was released for Windows, Mac and Linux PC's, will soon come to Xbox one and Windows 10 systems. The Xbox One Edition will launch bundled with "After Dark" DLC, Engadget reported. The previously PC exclusive game will be optimized for the Xbox One by Tantalus Media for the game's transition from mouse to game controller.

The incorporation of "After Dark" expansion adds another dimension to "Cities: Skylines" allowing it add tourism and nightlife options to the game's list of features. However, two of "Cities: Skylines," Snowfall and Natural Disasters, add-ons released last year for the PC, will not be included in the package, Eurogamer reported.

"Cities: Skylines" has five main game features that virtual city planners might enjoy.

1] Players can build the city of their dreams by planning roads, public transportation and parks. It would be up to the player whether he/she would opt to build in "Cities: Skylines."

2] "Cities: Skylines" will be multi-tiered, which would require the player, as mayor of the city, to balance essential game requirements such as education, water, electricity, police, firefighters, heath care and more.

3] There will be an extensive local traffic simulation, which will allow players to enjoy in interactive transport by, employing buses, trains, subways.

4] "Cities: Skylines" will make the player more than just a city official building and maintaining a virtual city. The player can act as more than one city hall official to create a car-free downtown area. Gematsu adds that players can assign public transport, or even banning pets in a suburban setting the player created.

5] Night Life activities is now possible with "After Dark" expansion allowing players to provide nightlife activities to "Cities: Skylines" that is guaranteed to while hours away.
