The annual expo for new smartphones is once again coming this Feb. 26 attended by the major tech manufacturers in the world. Here's everything you need to know about the innovative and powerhouse smartphones that will be unveil by your favorite tech firms!

Mobile World Congress 2017 Latest Updates

It's that time of the year again when technology companies across the globe gather together to showcase their new products such as smartphones, tablets and wearable gadgets. For this year's MWC, companies are also expected to reveal their innovation plans in other areas such as robotics, artificial intelligence and virtual reality, Mirror reported.

Furthermore, this year's MWC event also aims to highlight how vital is the role of mobile phones in people's everyday lives. It also aims to show how this means of communication transforms the industry through efficiency and new levels of productivity from the enterprises.

In relative to that, an estimated 2,200 tech companies around the world like Samsung, Sony, LG and Huawei will showcase their newly innovative and powerhouse products in the event.  Other companies like Blackberry, Lenovo-owned Motorola and ZTE have also confirmed their attendance and sent out invites for the respective media events.

What to Expect from these Companies During the Event?

Sony is rumored to release five new smartphones including the successor of Xperia Z5 Premium and Xperia X2. The South Korean tech firm LG has also confirmed to unveil the LG G6 which features 5.7-inch display and 64GB internal storage.

Huawei, on the other hand, is expected to unveil the Huawei P10 tat sports 5.5-inch curved-edge display and dual lens. The Lenovo-owned Motorola has also confirmed to unveil the next-gen Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus.

Another South Korean tech firm Samsung is also tipped to unveil the Galaxy Tab S3 as well as to present a short-video presentation of the premium Galaxy S8 during their media event. Lastly, the Chinese tech firm ZTE has also confirmed its attendance and confirms to unveil a Gigabit Phone, the world's first 5G phone, according to The Verge.
