Garmin has launched three new Apple Watch competitors: Fenix 5, 5S and 5X. While Fenix 5 and Fenix 5S are intended for those with smaller wrist, most specifically for women, Fenix 5X on the other hand is intended for men because of its larger built compared with the two, according to Apple Insider. Fenix 5 measures 47mm, Fenix 5s has the size of 42mm and the smallest among the three and Fenix 5X measures 51mm.

Just like the previous models, Garmin Fenix Smartwatch showcases features that best fit the adventurous souls such as hiking, running, cycling and swimming. According to Engadget, the smartwatches are water resistant up to 100 meters and it has a built-in activity tracking app called Garmin Connect app that was also featured in the previous models.

Through the Connect IQ store, the Smartwatch can run apps directly such as Uber ETA which allows the user to know how long will it take for his ride to arrive and GU Energy Labs and Trek.

Garmin Fenix Smartwatch is Expensive but it's Worth It

For the amount of $700, one can own the Fenix 5X which is said to be the most expensive among the three. However, the regular model for Fenix 5 and Fenix 5S cost $600 while the sapphire model has the same price tag with Fenix 5X according to Digital Trends.
