iPhone 8 Update in 60 Secs; Report Recap of The Nicest Phone You Can’t Wait to See in 2017
2016 will come to an end and here's a full recap of leaks and rumors circulating wildly through the web, about Apple's upcoming innovative handset, the iPhone 8.
iPhone 8 to sport bezel-less OLED screen
An edge-less screen already sounds exciting but an OLED panel is another hype to anticipate. Many sites have reportedly claimed that Apple might equip iPhone 8 with an OLED panel but the recent rumors hint at only one variant to be seen sporting OLED screen.
If the rumor is to be believed, this is Apple's effort in shifting from LCD display. KnowYourMobile added that the fingerprint reader and home button are placed under the display glass.
The reports have described the next iPhone's design in many terms including 'radical' and 'dramatic'. It may not be a surprise if the major overhauls lead to a total deviation from the traditional iDevice as Apple hasn't been seen launching a completely new technology. Rather, a development from the existing ones.
iPhone 8 to be launched in 3 models
Apple faithful have heard about Ferrari iPhone 8 which is said to rock premium specifications. This particular model is rumored to have cutting-edge innards, from A11 chip to flash storage - the new iPhone 8 will be more energy efficient and able to perform much faster than the iPhone 7. Another report from Express backs the rumor - mentioning three codenames of the iPhone 8 models - D20, D21, and D22. The internal source who spilled the information said that all of the three models are prepared for 2017 release.
iPhone 8 to support wireless charging
This verdict came from KGI Security analyst Ming Chi-Kuo who said that the all-glass iPhone 8 will support wireless charging feature. 9to5Mac wrote that giant manufacturer Pegatron will be the supplier of wireless charger but it may be sold separately.
iPhone 8 release date
Apple is expected to unveil iPhone 8 in September 2017.
