Android Nougat Update to LG G5

The South Korean tech firm LG has fulfilled its promise to rollout Android 7 Nougat update to LG G5 handset, making it the second LG device to taste the latest Android operating system. The update has officially rolled out last December 21st for the users residing in Canadian through the carriers Bell, Rogers and Fido according to Android Headlines.

Android Nougat Update to Nexus 9

Nexus 9 tablet has reportedly getting the Android 7.1.1 Nougat update under T-Mobile carrier in which the update includes the security patches for December and bug fixes as well, according to GSM Arena. Users are advised to make that the device as 50% battery life or higher, turn on the Wi-Fi and sufficient memory storage before downloading the 52MB firmware.

Android Nougat Update to Moto Z

Android Nougat update to Moto Z has reportedly kicked off last December 20th in the Great White North, Canada. According to Android Central, the update has make the device smoother when it comes to user interface and one of the most notable features it brought is the VR support for Google DayDream.

What to Expect from Android 7 Nougat Update to LG G5, Nexus 9, and Moto Z?

LG G5 is originally launched with Android 6 Marshmallow while Nexus 9 and Moto Z are upgraded to the said operating system. Android 7 Nougat update is expected to bring spectacular functionalities to the phone such as the new power saving technology called "Doze", enhanced Android notification scheme, split-screen multi-tasking mode and improvements on file and device encryption for security purposes; however, among the three handsets, LG G5 is the fittest to run Android 7 Nougat because it is powered by the most powerful chipsets found in the Android market today.
