Latest Android Nougat Beta Update Brings New Functionalities to Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge

The fourth rollout of Android Nougat beta for Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge has reportedly kicked off yesterday. According to Indian Express, the update has an estimated size of 300MB bearing the following versions: G930XXU1BPL2 and G935XXU1BPL2, respectively.

The fourth and reportedly the last Android Nougat beta update from Samsung has brought spectacular changes. Aside from the bug fixes, the update has also brought feature enhancements for the stability of the devices such as the removal of the Samsung Notes app as detailed from the changelog of the beta; however, if users wished to have the Samsung Notes apps, he can download it from Google Play Store

In addition, another thing that was noticed by the users is the removal of the Samsung Experience which was no longer mentioned all throughout. On the other hand, Samsung is reportedly bringing back the TouchWiz though it not confirmed yet by the South Korean tech firm.  

How to Download the Latest Android Nougat Beta?

For those users who are signed-up under the Galaxy Beta Program, they can immediately download the fourth Android Nougat beta to their eligible Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge handsets through over-the-air. Manual download is also available through the Settings Menu and choose Software Manual Download located under the Software Update option.

The final build of the fourth Android Nougat beta update firmware is expected to arrive sooner for all Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge devices according to 9 to 5 Google. Samsung has not revealed so much about the feature enhancements brought by the latest update, however, as stated in their notices, they will try to address the remaining issues on the subsequent versions.
