The release date of Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is one of the highly anticipated in 2017, speculations surrounding the internet claim that the tablet will be launched alongside the Surface Phone and Surface Book 2 in February 2017.

If an internal memo sent to the staff of the tech company turns out to be true, the Surface Pro 5 rolls out in February 2017. A number of reports claimed that Microsoft employees have already been told the Surface Pro 5 will launch at Mobile World Congress (MWC 2017) in February.

Other speculations suggested that the launch date for the Surface Pro 5 comes along with a major Windows 10 update. If the Surface Pro 5 rolls out early next year, the device would most probably be announced alongside the Surface Phone, Channel Pro reported.

Aside from the swirling rumors around Microsoft Surface Pro 5 release date, tech fans have also been teased with an array of awe-inspiring specs for the said hybrid device. The Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is slated to feature the same RAM capacity as Microsoft's equally anticipated Surface Phone. The Surface Pro 5 is also said to come along with the same AMOLED 4K technology as well, according to PC Advisor.

Furthermore, the Surface Pro 5 is expected to be packed with Intel's Kaby Lake chipsets, making the hybrid device more powerful as compared to its competitors. The Surface Pen of the device is slated to receive an update as well, making the Surface Pro 5 more appealing and interactive.

The much-lauded accessory of the Surface Pro 5 is also expected to come with rechargeable batteries, which can be charged wirelessly when connected to the device. Tech analysts claimed that the Surface Pro 5 will also come along with a 4K screen, coupled with upgraded USB Type-C ports. The Surface Pro 5 is expected to be available with 4 GB / 8 GB / 16 GB RAM options, Tech Radar reported.
