'Pokemon Sun and Moon' for Nintendo 3Ds to be The Largest Launch Ever; Check Out Special Item Details!

By

Nintendo gears up for the biggest 3Ds launch ever with its "Pokemon Sun and Moon". Rolling out 10 million copies of the game, the Japanese company prepares to lure Pokemon masters out there on Nov. 18.

"Pokemon Sun and Moon" 3Ds will break Nintendo's own record

The new trailer of the series has been released and quickly garnered attention from the gaming community. Nintendo's plan to ship 10 million copies of "Sun and Moon" is a huge surprise given that it is only the shipment quantity, not the sales figure. Thus, the number is pretty much impressive for a video game title.

The 10 million copies is said to be 1.5 times bigger than "Pokemon X and Y." According to Ars Technica, the seventh gen of the series will feature new mascots and new types of Pokemons. For the starters, they include Littn and Rowlet.

The worldwide shipment will be available in nine languages including Chinese, Italian and Spanish. Nintendo is ambitious with its Pokemon projects by making each game connected to each other. For instance, there is a feature called Pokemon Bank that allows gamers to transfer original characters to "Pokemon Sun and Moon."

"Pokemon Sun and Moon" release date for worldwide and EU

It's only a matter of hours before the role-playing video game is launched. On Nov. 18, the "Sun and Moon" in 3D version will be released for global market. As for EU, the game will be available on Nov. 23.

Trainers can pre-order "Pokemon Sun and Moon" 3Ds from Nintendo's official store with different packages to choose from. For those who purchase before Jan. 11, there will be a special bonus, Munchlax that can evolve to Snorlax.
