Google Pixel XL vs iPhone 7 Plus Specs: Google Pixel XL Camera Edging Out Apple's iPhone 7 Plus? [VIDEO]

By

Apple's devices are successful when it comes to capturing video even under a wide range of conditions. The Google Pixel XL stands out at mobile phone photography, in which the Pixel XL edges out Apple's iPhone 7 Plus.

Google Pixel XL and the iPhone 7 Plus camera capability were tested for several hours chasing dogs, pigeons and sunsets, it turns out that the Pixel XL may have its moments, but the iPhone 7 Plus captured better video. Its biggest advantages were image stabilization, color, sharpness, contrast, zoom and low-light shooting.

Even so, Google's Pixel XL, which comes along with the same cameras and image processing as the Google Pixel, did lead the 7 Plus in some areas. Pixel XL's autofocus was faster than iPhone 7 Plus, and Pixel XL sometimes continues to have a nice exposure when the iPhone went too much with brightness.

Google's smartphone beats down Apple's device when it comes to slow-motion video with sharper imagery. Pixel XL's snappy autofocus performs so well, especially the ability of the device to lock in more quickly on close-up subjects, CNET has learned.

Anyway, the two smartphones take a very different approach to image stabilization, which is a critical aspect of video quality. The iPhone 7 Plus uses an optical approach, while the Pixel XL is making a practical use of a digital stabilization, which uses motion sensors as well as an image data.

That being said, the Cupertino based tech company didn't throw in the kind of aesthetic overhaul to iPhone 7 Plus that tech fans expected, instead, the tech company offered a couple of new colors, such as the glossy Jet Black and matte Black, according to Stuff.

Google's Pixel XL, on the other hand, seems to resemble an iPhone, in spite of the fact that Pixel XL's fingerprint sensor is on the back, the general design from the front, bottom, back and sides, seems like a clear attempt to recreate the popular approach of Apple.
