Avid gamers have something to cheer about in the form of a brand new trailer for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2."

Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," giving gaming buffs a glimpse of the main antagonist of the current arc in "Dragon Ball Super" - Goku Black.

The latest trailer also introduces new characters slated to arrive in the fighting game in the first DLC pack. The trailer shows some gameplay footage of Goku Black going toe to toe with Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta. Both fighters seem well-matched in terms of strength until Goku Black unleashes a Kamehameha, iDigitalTimes reported.

Players can pre-order the Day One edition of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" to receive the villain as a playable character. Moreover, those who pre-order will receive a Tao Pai Pai stick for their character to get around the city.

Furthermore, Frost and Kyabe from "Dragon Ball Super" will make an appearance in the game as soon as the first DLC is made available, Bandai Namco US announced via its official Twitter account.

Meanwhile, the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" open beta is now live across all regions on PS4. In order to access it, players can simply download the 6.2GB beta client. The open beta will be up for grabs until Monday at 1am PT/4am ET/10am CEST.

Several "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" gameplay videos taken from the closed beta surfaced online earlier this week, exhibiting all the included Parallel Quests and much more.

As far as the game's Parallel Quests are concerned, there will be some remastered quests from the original game, which have been modified to accommodate some of the latest gameplay mechanics.

More "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" footage surfaced online ahead of the closed beta, revealing an array of the game's awe-inspiring features, including new hub city and some sequences from the Story mode.

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is slated to hit the store shelves later this month for all regions on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
