A brand new trailer for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" was revealed at TGS (Tokyo Game Show) 2016, showing some classic scenes and gameplay from the anime to get avid gamers hyped.

The trailer kicks off with a short animated portion that sheds more light on the Time Patrollers' work including what they do to try and stop changes to the timeline (like what Trunks did in the past).

Moreover, the footage gives us a glimpse of different parts of the game, including unforgettable scenes and exclusively created new parts for the game and a plethora of action, according to reports on Siliconera.

Here's the new "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" trailer from TGS 2016:

After the animated segment, there's lot of new gameplay that flaunts the enhanced frame rate of battles, and shows off the transformation for your custom character in style.

In Bandai Namco's upcoming action fighter, players can acquire transformations for the Super Buu, Super Namekian and Super Saiyan 3. The footage also gives a glimpse of some of the changes gamers can make to their female Saiyan and Namekian character, iDigitalTimes reported.

But that's not all! For the first time, gamers' female Saiyan will be able to transform into a Super Saiyan or Super Saiyan 3 - complete with long spiky hair.

In order to keep tight rein on the changes to the Dragon Ball timeline, players will have to travel through time. The trailer shows us one example of Cell absorbing Android 17 and 18 simultaneously.

Aside from the new trailer, an open beta for "Xenoverse 2" was rolled out for PS Plus users in Japan. There will be an early-access beta from October 8 through October 10, and an open beta starts on October 14 and will be available until October 16.
