‘The Flash’ Season 3 Spoilers: Savitar and Dr. Alchemy is Coming [VIDEO]

By

Dr. Alchemy is on his way to "The Flash" Season 3 episode 2. The teaser for the said episode showed Edward Clariss as he woke up in the middle of the night due to a noise inside of his head. This was after Reverse-Flash and Barry travelled back in time such that they could finish Nora Allen.

The voice shouted "Clariss, time to wake up". Clariss got out of his bed as he saw the letters 'ALCHEMY' in the mirror which were written through scratches.

"The Flash" Season 3 will feature Dr. Alchemy and Savitar as its primary antagonists which was already made known since the San Diego Comic Con in July. Executive Producer Aaron Helbing said that Dr. Alchemy and Savitar are just two out of the many consequences of Flashpoint, iDigital Times reported.

Dr. Alchemy's contact with Edward Clariss appears to be slightly strange. The use of a mirror, as a means of communication by Dr. Alchemy, may possibly be an affirmation to Mirror Master. If Clariss will still act as The Rival, then Dr. Alchemy may have the intention to engage him into taking down The Flash and Kid Flash.

Interestingly, Helbing teased during an interview at Empire that Clariss may have somewhat retained some of his memories about the Flashpoint timeline. So, these memories will in turn be used by Dr. Alchemy to subject him into a psychological warfare. Helbing added that Edward Clariss will remember everything that had happened in "Flashpoint", and all of the scenes will be playing within the duration of the season, according to Forbes.

This will be the challenge that Barry and his team are going to face and struggle with; while at the same time trying to overcome them by all means. Helbing further explained about Savitar and Doctor Alchemy's origins - that they are both from Flashpoint. Everything that happened in Flashpoint will haunt the whole season.
