Microsoft's Latest 'Surface Pro 4' Commercial Bashing Apple's MacBook Air, Surface Pro 4 Better Than MacBook Air?

By

Microsoft launched a new commercial for its Surface Pro 4, in which it seemed to bash Apple's MacBook Air. The Surface Pro 4 ad that was posted on YouTube is entitled "Surface Pro 4 is the one for me."

As the new commercial directly comparing the tablet computer to MacBook Air, it featured a woman trying out some of the distinctive attributes of the Surface Pro 4 and then attempting to direct the functionality of Apple's device to no avail.

All the while, a melody man accompanied the ad with his musical keyboard and quirkily sings the praises of Microsoft's device offering against the MacBook Air, in which the man called less useful, and used a hat to reference for a person's cat, according to Mac Rumors.

The Surface Pro 4 ad plays upon the device's signature features like the touch screen, detachable keyboard and pen. It also indicated Surface Pro 4's relative lightness compared to the MacBook Air.

However, this is the second advertisement for the Surface Pro 4 this month that directly compares itself to an Apple device. The commercial follows a similar anti-Apple theme, which have previously compared the Surface Pro 4 with iPad Pro, the Surface Book contrasted with the MacBook Pro, as well as Windows 10 with OS X, Windows Central reported.

Anyway, the 12.3-inch Surface Pro 4 with 128 gigabyte of internal storage and 4 gigabyte of RAM starts at $899, while the 256 gigabyte of internal storage and 16 gigabyte of RAM goes up to as much as $1,799.

By comparison, the 11-inch MacBook Air with 128 gigabyte of storage and 4 gigabyte of RAM starts at $899, while it boosted up with 256 gigabyte of storage and 8 gigabyte of RAM for $1099.

The 13-inch model of MacBook Air starts at $999 for 128 gigabyte of storage and 8 gigabyte of RAM, and boosting up to $1199 for 256 gigabyte of storage.
