Sony has released a little update about the game "The Last Guardian"; update includes release date of the game.

The latest game offering, "The Last Guardian", from Team ICO who also developed a few other classic games will finally be released. Team ICO was the one who developed the game "Ico and the Shadow of Colossus". The release date and some updates were revealed by Shuhei Yoshida, Sony President of Worldwide Studios. He gave his thoughts on E3 during the last episode of the Playstation BlogCast.

In this game the player would play as a young boy who would befriend Trico, a giant beast. The player would then go with the creature and make their way through a huge crater which is filled with ruins. There are also sinister enemies in the giant crater. The main goal of the game is for the player to lead the beast, Trico, to freedom, Segment Next reported.

Yoshida said that there was big discussion between the game's developers over whether to show the game's trailer at the 2016 E3 or not. He also said that the game has already been playtested many times. Now, the game is being debugged, tweaked, and polished.

"The Last Guardian", whose trailer was shown during the 2016 E3, will be released on 25 October 2016. And it will be exclusive only for PlayStation 4. However, the game will come to Europe three days after its official launch.

The game's update put an end to the fear of the fans that the game will be delayed. Currently, the game is already finished and the developers are already testing if the game runs out properly. It is also important that the game runs without trouble or the customers will not be satisfied and the game will receive negative reviews, Attack of the Fanboy reported.

Team ICO has been constantly improving the game and will continue to do so until the last minute before the official launch.
