There may be many tips on money saving which most of them trying to help you saving more money and spend less. But what if you are not planning for a frugal living?

For those living elsewhere, people are living in an apartment where there could be a space left for nothing, for instance, the couch. Indeed, you can consider renting your couch in a very affordable rate to backpackers searching for cheap accommodation in AirBnB. Look for events in the city where people outside the town would likely attend. According to the USA Today, money-conscious travelers are looking for less-expensive options, which bring them to AirBnB listings. And for you to accommodate such service, it could mean paying off your debt on time.

Consider location

While having a roommate to split the bill is great for money-saving, let's not forget the other expenses  you need to pay. Neighborhood apartments are worth checking on. They usually have bigger size but cheaper living cost. Lesser known does not mean it is not comfortable. You could have more features than of those in the impressive location.

Become a loyal customer

As you stay in an area, you will likely to go for laundry service. However, you should not feel squeezed or live frugally just to save your money as there is a better option. If you want to be qualified for promotional rate, you can look for services that offer discounts with certain payment method and go for it. Ask the store if they accept student card or any price reduction when you have used the service for let say, 10 times in a row.

Switch to Netflix

Big cities do offer free things like festivals and galleries, which are considered as money-saving entertainment. Apart from that, you can also be entertained at home by streaming via Netflix, Chromecast or Hulu, US News shared tips on cutting cable. These are great alternatives without spending TV cable bill without sacrificing your favorite shows.

When you make a living in a high-cost area, you do not have to live uncomfortable. Rather, choosing the options wisely.
