The release date details of the Xbox Project Scorpio are expected during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2017 in June. Nonetheless, a tweet from blogger Jez Corden says not to expect the Xbox Project Scorpio before September.
Blogger Corden tweeted that anticipations of the Xbox Project Scorpio launching in August or even earlier are not true. Corden claims that in launching a game, it requires certificate against the October 2017 XDK. That means a product to roll out after August would have to act in accordance with October's regulations.
Nevertheless, Xbox head Phil Spencer previously claimed that the high-spec Xbox Project Scorpio is slated for a holiday 2017 release. But, it's an encouraging development for game enthusiasts for the reason that it shows the development of the Xbox Project Scorpio is going well, Express reported.
Although Microsoft is yet to announce the release date, features, specs and price of the Xbox Project Scorpio during the E3 gaming expo, the upcoming gaming console will likely dominate this year's event. Wherein, the specs of the Xbox Project Scorpio could make the device powerful enough to deliver 60fps at 4K for AAA video games, Daily Star reported.
In spite of that, Microsoft's upcoming gaming system will come with a native 4K support for select titles. The central processing unit (CPU) of the Xbox Project Scorpio is 30% faster than Xbox One, while the graphics processing unit (GPU) of the console is 4.6 times more powerful than its predecessor.
Microsoft's Xbox Project Scorpio is anticipated to boast a 12GB of GDDR5 RAM, which will make the gaming system a true powerhouse machine. The upcoming console is said to run at a clock speed of 6.84GHz, with a memory bandwidth of 326GB/s. That being said, Microsoft is doing everything to reassure gamers that its upcoming Scorpio will be the best console in the gaming world.
