By

Tech fans and experts are expecting Microsoft to roll out the Surface Phone in three different models sometime this year. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella hinted last year that the tech giant will launch a new Windows 10 smartphone that is an ultimate mobile device.

Microsoft CEO claimed that the tech company is planning to launch a smartphone that may not look like the mobile phones that are available in the market. Nadella stated that they will continue to be in the smartphone industry, but with a different approach than today's market leaders. Nadella also said that Microsoft is looking at different forms of smartphones, Market Exclusive reported.

The Microsoft Surface Phone 2017 is likely to be an expensive mobile device. It has been said that the low-end model of the Microsoft Surface Phone would have a $699 price tag, while the higher-end model would cost $1,100.

Tech experts are expecting the tech giant will release the Microsoft Surface Phone 2017 in the fourth quarter of 2017. On the contrary, some reports are claiming that the Microsoft Surface Phone won't be unleashed until the first quarter of 2018.

The Microsoft Surface Phone 2017 is said to be available with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 processor. Microsoft is expected to roll out the new Surface device with support for running full-fledged Windows 10 apps, Liliputing reported.

Also, the Microsoft Surface Phone 2017 is anticipated to support an external mouse and keyboard, giving its users a complete desktop experience. Some reports are claiming that the Surface Phone will be up for grabs in three models, a consumer, a business, and an enthusiast edition.

Furthermore, the Microsoft Surface Phone 2017 is anticipated to go head to head with Apple's iPhone 8, Galaxy S8 and Google Pixel. Some tech fans are expecting the Microsoft Surface Phone will be called as the Surface P or the Surface Mini.
