For all the Game of Thrones fans out there, this is now the perfect time for them to show their undying devotion to their favorite series. The new season is not the only thing that's worth looking forward to, because a college course is now being offered by a university to teach the language that was solely created for the TV program - Dothraki.

The University of California Berkeley will be launching a college course this summer all about the language of the Dothraki people from the HBO's hit series, Mashable reported. The made-up yet very real language was specifically created for the TV show, and now college students from the university will get to have a chance to take a class on this language.

The college course will be taught by the man who created the language himself, the linguist David J. Peterson, The Sacramento Bee reported. It was announced on a press release last Thursday that the course will be called "The Linguistics of 'Game of Thrones' and the Art of Language Invention," and will be worth three credits. It will also run four times a week for six weeks starting May 22 to June 30.

The course welcomes students who are really into language creation. According to Peterson, this course will really be hardcore, where students will really have to learn how to create naturalistic language. He explains that naturalistic languages are the languages that attempt to replicate the quirks and idiosyncrasies of natural languages. He also added that it will not just focus on the creation of alien languages or auxiliary languages, or parody languages.

It was 2011 when Game of Thrones was first premiered and the fans of the hit series immediately fell in love with the Dothraki language spoken by a warrior group who ride horses to cross the desserts of Essos.
