The two spots atop Group C could well be open for the taking, so either Colombia or Greece could get their World Cup off to the right start Saturday.

Colombia and Greece are joined by Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) and Japan to fill out the group. With the lack of a true powerhouse team, Group C is winnable in comparison to some of the other groups.

According to FIFA.com, American official Mark Geiger will serve as head referee and he will be assisted by an American countryman, a Canadian and an Iranian official.

Colombia and Greece will face off in the Estadio Mineirao arena, which was built in 1965 and seats 58,259 people.

According to Weather.com, the city of Belo Horizonte will be hot and sunny in the morning, but like Friday, the early games could be played under rain. Being summer time in Brazil, the World Cup teams are expecting to play in extreme heat, so rain may be a welcome change.

The Colombian National Football Team has made the World Cup five times, debuting in 1962. The best they have done is finish in the round of 16 and, like many countries, they do not fare well against Brazil, the host country.

The Grecian National Football Team has only made the World Cup three times and their first appearance came in 1994. Though they have never made it out of the first round of the World Cup, they won the European Championship in 2004.

The two teams have limited experience against one another, only one game that Colombia won 2-0. The winners of this game will certainly be keeping an eye on the Japan - Ivory Coast contest set to take place Saturday night.
