The "Pokemon Go" mobile game is one of the widely played mobile apps to date due to its augmented reality (AR) gameplay, not to mention the game's deluge of monsters. Now, that a large number of content has been added into the augmented reality game, with the most recent being the Raid events, new details have surfaced about the game's upcoming first year anniversary.

A recent Reddit post seems to indicate that Niantic is gearing up something for the first year anniversary of the location-based augmented reality game on July 6. The upcoming "Pokemon Go" event might include a rare Pikachu, MIC reported.

Nonetheless, some reports are suggesting that the said Pikachu belongs to Ash Ketchum. If such would be the case, players can expect the said yellow, chubby rodent Pokémon would settle inside a trainer's bag instead inside a Pokeball.

Meanwhile, reports are getting rife that the recently added Raid Event has allowed players to capture the creatures with levels higher compared to their own. The "Pokemon Go" Raid Event also enabled trainers with levels as low as five to compete against raid bosses, Comic Book reported.

News of this information came from the Reddit/TheSilphRoad thread, where a user made it known that the raid bosses level found during the raids will not scale down for Trainers who have below level 20. In order for a "Pokemon Go" player to participate in raids, the player must have a minimum level of 20. However, some players pointed out that level 20 is not hard to achieve.

Nevertheless, several "Pokemon Go" players believe that the potential to catch the higher level Pokemon would create favorable circumstances for both the Pokemon community as well as for newcomers. But, some gamers pointed out that newbies that will not able to contribute to the new raids might leave the game.
