Apple announced a slew of new updates for its MacBook laptops and iMac desktop during the WWDC 2017 event. The most notable hardware is the latest iMac Pro, which comes along with an arbitrary 18-core processor and a 27-inch 5K screen. Apple's new iMac Pro is said to roll out later this year, but the speed bumped of the device is something that pro users can purchase today.

The Cupertino based tech giant just concluded its annual hardware-focused software conference. Aside that Apple updated the existing products like the MacBook with Intel's new Kaby Lake processors, the tech company decided to use the conference to please its pro users with its new iMac as well as iMac Pro desktop computers.

Although Apple's new iMac Pro won't roll out until December, but the speed-bumped iMacs could be something that Pro users can purchase today. Wherein, the 2017 iMac looks identical to its predecessor. The back logo on the new device is the same size of the old one, and the power button is in the exact same position. Nonetheless, the external difference is that USB-C ports replaced the Thunderbolt 2 ports that support Thunderbolt 3, The Verge reported.

Nevertheless, Apple's new professional all-in-one desktop computer, iMac Pro, comes along with an 8-core Intel Xeon processor. But, the entirely new workstation-class product can be configured with an 18-core processor up to 128GB of EEC RAM, 4TB SSD storage as well as Radeon Vega discrete graphics cards up to 16GB of RAM.

Aside from that, the tech giant also updated the regular iMac lineup with Intel's new 7th-gen Core i5 and i7 processors, up to 64GB of RAM and the company's Fusion drives as standard. Apple's new iMac Pro also boasts a new dual centrifugal fan setting. The new iMac Pro will be available in three variants, Tech Radar reported.
