ASUS reportedly unveiled its first Ryzen 7 processor-powered device known as the Asus ROG Strix G702ZC laptop during the Computex 2017 event in Taipei, Taiwan. Asus also revealed several gaming laptops powered by Intel and Ryzen processors.

The Asus ROG Strix G702ZC 17.3-inch laptop that offers an options for either a Full HD at a 120Hz screen or a 4K at 60Hz. The Asus ROG Strix G702ZC gaming laptop is 33mm thick and only weigh in under 7lbs. Nonetheless, Asus' latest gaming laptop is said to have beast specs under the hood, Tech Radar reported.

The Asus ROG Strix G702ZC is powered by an octa-core Ryzen 7 1700 processor coupled with AMD's latest Radeon RX 580. AMD's latest flagship GPU is said to be the new deemed Radeon graphics champion. Aside from that, the Asus ROG Strix G702ZC is also said to feature an 8GB of video RAM as well as a 32GB of DDR4-2400 system memory.

ASUS Chief Operating Officer, SY Shian, made it known that Asus Republic of Gamers (ROG) is dedicated to the most innovative hardcore product for dedicated video gamers. Shian also said that the Asus ROG Strix G702ZC gaming laptop is the first ROG product that the tech company has designed around AMD, ZDNET reported.

Furthermore, in order for the Asus ROG Strix G702ZC gaming laptop to provide a no lag experience for gamers, the device is back upped by AMD's FreeSync tech. The Asus gaming laptop is available with a single USB-C port, an SD card reader as well as a USB Type-A ports.

Also, the Asus ROG Strix G702ZC gaming laptop has an M.2 slot compatible with NVMe SSDs up to 512GB. Although the Taiwanese multinational computer company is yet to pitch in the price of the ROG Strix G702ZC gaming laptop, the device is anticipated to roll out later this summer.
