iPad Mini 5 which is now popularly called iPad Pro Mini is reportedly making a huge debut at the Worldwide Developers Conference 2017 (WWDC 2017) starting June 5 to June 9. With just a month to go, Apple fans are now savvier in getting further info and leaks regarding the products they have been tailing and here are some we know so far.

Prior to WWDC 2017, Apple has not release announcement regarding its lineup presentation for the grand tech event of the year. However, insider leaks and massive reports from various media outlets and tech buffs hyped the best features fans want to see in the next iPad Pro Mini.

Taking in a new moniker, iPad Pro Mini is expected to take on the smallest tier in Apple iPad Pro 2 lineup. Expected to appear in the 7.9-inch display, the next iPad Mini will surely rock its tier since most of its predecessors are being sold out by almost all of Apple Stores and select retailers.

Previously on University Herald, iPad Pro Mini is reported to feature a processor from the A-series. According to Chinese Analyst Ming-Chi, the said device is likely to sport the A10X chipset since the CPU is expected to be released within the year.

iPad Pro Mini will come alongside bigger iPad Pro 2 tiers, namely, the 10.5 inches and the 12.9 inches versions. All of these devices are expected to function in the same level of performance. However, expect for slight improvements in the bigger ones since they will sports features not fit in the smaller tier, Blorge reported.

Also, the iPad Mini upgrade will be able to host the new technology embedded to the upcoming Apple Pencil. The compatibility between the two devices are much improved this time since Apple aims for multi-functionality in its different device branding.

However, iOS 11 beta is not yet confirmed to appear in iPad Pro 2 lineup. In addition, Apple iPad Pro Mini is expected to cost about $600.
