Apple and Samsung will have a new rival for their tablet flagships as Motorola is reportedly working on a 10-inch Android tablet with powerful features. The tablet will be a great interest for those seeking iPad Pro alternative.

While the iPad Pro 2 is rumored to enhance its productivity tool, Motorola is currently working on one. The company's upcoming Android tablet is said to have a productivity mode that enables easy multitasking and smoother pan or zoom. An informant who is familiar of the matter claimed that the tablet will be about 9 to 10 inches, CNET reported.

Unlike the old Xoom, the Productivity Mode in this Android tablet will reportedly be an option that users can activate or deactivate. To put into perspective, Android tablets have been lacking of productivity features which makes it obvious that the creative pros turn to Apple as a problem solver.

If Motorola Android tablet will materialize with pro features, it is safe to assume that it will come with a stylus accessory. Keyboard is also an essential piece of gear that should be compatible with the device. As far as the display is concerned, Motorola Android tablet is rumored to deliver breathtaking visual experience. Could it be something like TrueTone display? That remains to be seen.

An online media outlet even pits the Android tablet against Surface Pro. That said, Motorola's impending product is surely worth the wait. Details are still scarce and we are not sure how Lenovo company will design its tablet but it will be interesting to see superthin bezels and powerful specs come to live with an Android operating system. If Motorola makes it an affordable product, the Android tablet will have a great selling point, Android Authority reported.
