The tech world has been hearing lots of news and speculation about Nvidia GeForce GT 1030 recently. But now, the crowd is about to get the final specifications of the much-talked Nvidia graphics cards.

As mentioned earlier by multiple sources, the Nvidia GeForce GT 1030 will be released to take on the rival's major product, the recently introduced AMD Radeon RX 550. The new graphics card will utilize the new GP108 GPU, which based on the Pascal architecture.

According to the latest reports, the Nvidia GeForce GT 1030 will be a low-end gaming card and it's meant to become a replacement for the Nvidia GT 930 and GT 730. This also mean that the cards aren't meant to run the latest and greatest AAA titles at the highest settings and that its performance is reportedly on par or better than the Nvidia GTX 750i.

As for the card's final specifications, the GP108 GPU will feature 384 CUDA cores, which is far different compared to the 512 CUDA cores that being reported earlier. This could also result in getting 2 variants of this card, the 2GB version which contains the 384 CUDA cores and the 4GB version with the expected 512 CUDA cores, the Game Sinners reported.

Additionally, the Nvidia GeForce GT 1030 will have 2 GPCs, each containing 2 SM blocks for a total of 4. The new card will also feature 32 TMUs and 16 ROPs while sporting clock frequencies of 1252 MHz base and 1506 MHz boost. There's also a 64-bit wide bus and ships with the reported of 2 or 4 GB of GDDR5 memory.

Based on the newly leaked information from Elchapuzasinformatico, the new card will no longer require an additional power connector. The TDP will be rated at just 30w only. In comparison, the AMD Radeon RX 550 is being rated at 50W.

As for the pricing, the Santa Clara-based Nvidia has been reportedly working hard to offer lower cost as AMD starts its assault market. AMD is said to be offering similar or better performance to Nvidia's current offering but with a big different on the price story. The crowd could still expect some pricing changes here, as Nvidia tried to respond to AMD's latest challenge.

Rival product AMD Radeon RX 550 is currently priced at $79, so the most likely or suggested price for Nvidia GeForce GT 1030 will be around the $60 to $80 mark. That places the chip in a much closer position with its rival AMD Radeon RX 550.
