Apple's super-high-end laptop, MacBook Pro, received a massive update in 2016, launched with a new design and an innovative Touch Bar feature. Considering the age of the hardware, reports are claiming that Apple would not implement a massive changes on the upcoming MacBook Pro 2017.

Reports are high that the 2017 iteration of the MacBook Pro would most likely feature simple spec bumps, which include more memory and a better battery life. Apple fans on Reddit predicted that the starting price might also be implemented for the upcoming powerful laptop.

Nonetheless, the MacBook Pro 2017 is said to come with Intel's Cannon Lake chipset, which is one of Intel's first chipsets built with 10nm process. The Cannon Lake chipset is said to decrease the power consumption as it supports higher capacity RAM. With MacBook Pro 2017 expected to increase the power, the machine is believed to work well with the DDR memory bump to make a more powerful device, Mac Rumors reported.

On the contrary, some reports are claiming that the MacBook Pro 2017 will come along with an Apple-designed chip. The chip, which is dubbed as T310, will handle battery consumption and take care of applications. Meanwhile, Microsoft's highly anticipated Surface Pro 5 is also said to feature the same processor.

In spite of that, MacBook Pro 2017 is anticipated to be available in a gold color variant, which seems a good match for Apple's gold iPhones. The upcoming powerful laptop will be equipped with some features to make it a highly essential device for industry professionals.

As for the release date of the Apple MacBook Pro 2017, the device is likely to launch in October. The MacBook Pro 2016 were also released in the same month last year. But, Apple has yet to announce the official specs, release date and price of the MacBook Pro 2017, Mac World reported.
