Acer's Predator laptops are mostly too much for most tech enthusiasts who do not really want to carry around a heavy gaming device. Now, the Taiwanese tech giant is offering up a solution with the first ultra-thin gaming laptop, Acer Predator Triton 700. Acer's latest laptop comes along with some relatively high-end specs that can run the latest games.

Acer aimed the new Predator Triton 700 laptop at taking on the likes of the Razer Blade gaming device as seen in its aluminum chassis and new sleek design. The new Acer Predator Triton 700 laptop boasts some relatively high-end specs that can run the latest video games at decent settings, PC Gamer reported.

While the Acer Predator Triton 700 laptop is not really as thin as the Razer Blade, Acer's new Predator Triton 700 is quite sleek at just 18mm thick. The Acer Predator Triton 700 laptop is still thinner than most gaming laptops in its class and fits right into most laptop bags, unlike the GTX 1080-equipped Acer Predator 21X.

The improved design of Acer Predator Triton 700 laptop also helped the device to achieve its incredible lightness and thinness. Predator Triton 700's mechanical keyboard is located near its bottom half with the touchpad above it. Nonetheless, Acer's new gaming laptop is not lacking in the connectivity department. The Acer Predator Triton 700 laptop comes along with a Thunderbolt 3 connector, three USB ports, a DisplayPort connector and an HDMI 2.0 port, Digital Trends reported.

Acer's new laptop will likely have both Core i5 and Core i7 variants as options. The Acer Predator Triton 700 laptop is also armed with a Nvidia GTX 10-series GPU and can be equipped with up to 32GB of DRR4 RAM. Acer will launch the Predator Triton 700 sometime in August and the device will have a $3,000 price tag, Windows Central reported.
