The "Red Dead Redemption 2" must be a highly-anticipated game as Amazon preorder stock was sold out albeit the unknown release date. However, the retailer reportedly prepares for an inventory refresh.

It looks like there is more hype in PlayStation universe than in Xbox when it comes to Rockstar most popular title. The Amazon preorder for "Red Dead Redemption 2" is currently available for Xbox One platform for $59.96. As for the PS4 players, the game is apparently out of stock without further notice on when the inventory will be updated.

Rockstar made only a few announcements without stating further detail about the game launch but limiting preorder quota seems like a legit strategy to boost the game's popularity. "Red Dead Redemption 2" could reach a potential earning with such a huge demand, RDR2 reported.

Red Dead fans will see Rockstar returns with "Red Dead Redemption 2" this year. And according to an admin in GTA forums, "Bully 2" will be released after "Red Dead Redemption 2" this Fall. It seemingly suggests that "RDR2" will have an imminent launch as Rockstar has to prepare "Bully" sequel for the next unveiling, PSU reported.

For Xbox One owners, preorder stocks are still available but PS4 users need to wait a little longer as Amazon will refresh its inventory in the coming months. "Red Dead Redemption 2" is expected to make a big hit like the previous series. The video game sequel reportedly depicts the life in the Old West with gorgeous details of the landscape.

As for the plot, Rockstar refused to spill the beans. The publisher only teased the fans one time with the "Red Dead Redemption 2" trailer - which was released months ago. While fans expect an October release, the listing in Amazon suggests Dec. 31 launch instead.
