George R.R. Martin's sixth book in his bestselling series, "The Winds of Winter," still has no release date yet. As Martin always says he is busy at the moment to finish the book, the author has allegedly put the upcoming "The Winds of Winter" novel at the back of his priorities. Nonetheless, recently surfaced reports are claiming that a second author is helping Martin to finish the novel.

Martin has already promised before that he will release "The Winds Of Winter" book before the "Game of Thrones" season 6, but the American drama series is gearing up to debut its seventh installment and Martin's book has not yet come out. Nevertheless, Neil Gaiman, author of the American Gods, is reportedly the one writing "The Winds of Winter" novel on Martin's behalf, Blasting News reported.

Gaiman has been spotted a couple of times in Sta. Fe, New Mexico, which is Martin's hometown. The American Gods author stay in the place has raised many anticipations, with some book fans believing that Gaiman is collaborating with Martin for the upcoming "The Winds of Winter" novel.

Nevertheless, Martin has updated his fans that he is still writing the rest of "The Winds of Winter" book. But, the prestigious American novelist also admitted that he might again fail to release "The Winds of Winter" novel sometime in June. Nonetheless, book enthusiasts are hoping that "The Winds of Winter" will be released before the season 7 of "Game of Thrones" comes out in July.

Meanwhile, fans are predicting the content of Martin's upcoming novel. A book enthusiast has recently pointed out another Greenseer to appear in the story.

In spite of that, the indications of Martin on "The Winds of Winter" timeline gave his fans a bit of hope. If reports are claiming that the book should be out soon, Martin is expected to make an official announcement next month, Cele Beat reported.
