Although Microsoft's sought-after Surface Pro 5 is reportedly not getting a huge unveiling next month, the tech company is expected to still release the device later this year. As the China Compulsory Certificate (CCC) gave their thumbs up to the Microsoft Surface Pro 5, this suggests that the device is almost ready for its big reveal.

As to why the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is still nowhere to be seen, it is being said that the Redmond, the Washington-based tech giant has focused on expanding the Windows 10 Cloud system, which is believed to have the spotlight in the May event.

Several tech fans were expecting the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 to be launched in October 2016 since its predecessor made its debut in the same month of the previous year. But, that window has passed, and the tech giant still has no announcements for its upcoming Microsoft Surface Pro 5. Nonetheless, the device is still expected to be unveiled in spring 2017, PC Advisor reported.

Nevertheless, the upcoming Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is expected to come along with a new Surface Dial as an accessory. Microsoft's forthcoming device is anticipated to have an improved display, a lightweight aluminum body, Intel's latest Kaby Lake processor, a 16GB of RAM, 512GB of internal storage and an upgraded Surface Pen stylus along with the wireless charging feature.

In spite of the anticipated specs of the Microsoft Surface Pro 5, the device is said to be an incremental upgrade to the Microsoft Surface Pro 4. As the USB-C feature will not be available for the upcoming device, the feature will be a major disappointment for tech enthusiasts considering the connectivity standard is being adopted by several hardware manufacturers, Tech News Gazette reported.
