The upcoming "Minecraft" Nintendo Switch Edition is said to run at a maximum of 60 frames per second (FPS). The Nintendo Switch version of "Minecraft" also offers 13 times bigger game world compared to the Nintendo Wii U version of the sandbox video game.

The Nintendo Switch version of the sandbox video game runs at 60 fps. Also, players can easily transfer their Nintendo Wii U version worlds to Nintendo's latest gaming system, Mobi Picker reported.

If compared to "Minecraft's" PlayStation Vita version, the video game runs at a maximum of 20 to 25 frames per second. Meanwhile, the "Minecraft" Nintendo Switch Edition has a better hardware that allows the sandbox video game to run smooth at higher fps. "Minecraft's" 60 frames per second on Nintendo Switch is fairly impressive for a technically-mobile gaming system. The "Minecraft" Nintendo Switch Edition will also be on par with the January update.

On the other hand, it appears that the Swedish video game developer, Mojang, has something up its sleeves for its sandbox video game, "Minecraft." Xbox boss Phil Spencer hinted that the studio is creating new content.

Xbox head Spencer teased on his Twitter account that he saw Mojang working on the future of "Minecraft." Spencer stated that it was very impressive to witness new ideas the game developer is working on to come to life. More details about "Minecraft's" future will likely be unveiled during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3 2017) event this coming June, Game Rant reported.

Nonetheless, Spencer did not provide any other details as to what fans can expect, but "Minecraft" gamers can consider on getting new content in the sandbox video game in the future. This does not come as a surprise since Microsoft made it known that they will provide continual updates for "Minecraft." That being said, the Nintendo Switch version of the sandbox video game is set to release on May 11, 2017.
