"Batman: Arkham Insurgency" was announced on March 8 and since then, reports have detailed the gameplay and villains. This time, Batman will face his strongest opponent, the Owlman and along with Robin, the team will fight the criminals in Gotham with limited weapons.

"Batman: Arkham Insurgency" is confirmed for this year but the official publisher still remains mum on any detail of the gameplay. Nonetheless, the faithful players and media outlets have taken time to dig deeper and found out all of the interesting information about the sequel.

 It is reported that "Batman: Arkham Insurgency" will be a prequel - taking players to the past after Origins. It will tell a little story on how Batman meets Robin and both become a great team. However, fans should not expect a high-tech combat with the Batmobile and armors as things will be back to basic. The setting will most likely take place in Gotham, precisely the coastal areas with traditional approach and pattern, Whatculture reported.

With Robin's presence, the character will be playable. There is still no word on how Robin would be different from Batman but if ever it has an alternate mode, Robin should give a distinct atmosphere to the gameplay, Mic reported.

In "Batman: Arkham Insurgency", the criminals will attack the city and the Dark Knight will face his strongest enemy of all, the Owlman. It is obvious that the Courts of Owl would be Batman's main villains. Players can expect a big fight between the two bosses and if they are lucky enough, the game will reveal the Courts of Owl.

As for Bruce, leaks have pointed at a classic Batsuit without too much modernized costume given that it tells a story from the past. "Batman: Arkham Insurgency" was teased on March 8. Since then, reports have hinted at the video game development with three islands reportedly on the roadmap.

Will there be a great combat in "Batman: Arkham Insurgency"? That remains to be confirmed.
