Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will see the light of day sometime later this year. A few recent reports and leaks, however, are already showing the fans how dual-camera setup and wonderful display look like the rumored OLED iPhone instead of Galaxy S8.

We have heard about Samsung Galaxy Note 8 leaks and rumors that suggested the handset will have a lot of things in common. However, the latest detail spilled by Ming-Chi Kuo seemingly hints that the Note iteration is getting more like an iPhone 7 Plus device.

The KGI security analyst predicted that Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will adopt dual-camera setup. A 12 MP and a 13 MP sensors packed with dual OIS and dual 6P lenses. From the leaked image, the Note 7 successor looks nothing like Galaxy S8 renders. The image shows a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor under the dual lens camera. The heart rate sensor is also spotted at the back, AppleInsider reported.

Kuo explained that the upcoming flagship will steal the limelight from Galaxy S8 as the latter will look less appealing to consumers.  The dual camera configuration in Samsung Galaxy Note 8 suggests a device looking like an iPhone 7 Plus, but Kuo stated that it will be much better than Apple's smartphone. Furthering the detail, Kuo said that Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be on par with an OLED iPhone.

Specs-wise, Samsung will equip the next-gen Note with 6.4-inch QHD OLED display. The South Korean tech giant might launch two different processors version, a Snapdragon 835 and Exynos 8895, depending on the region. A slimmer S-Pen is expected since Samsung will be making the components smaller. Kuo estimated that Samsung Galaxy Note 8's fiscal 2017 will reach 15 million units shipment. This is lesser than Galaxy S8 with 55 million units, 9to5Google reported.

Fans can order Galaxy S8 ahead of its launch while Samsung has not yet revealed or teased them with details of the Note 8. According to reports, the handset will debut in the second half of 2017. Check out Samsung Galaxy Note 8 renders in the video below!
