Rockstar confirmed "Red Dead Redemption 2" release date and the PS4-Xbox game will feature young Marston in the prequel. The gameplay will include boat travels and the real life in the Wild West.

The critically acclaimed video game is lauded for its breathtaking visual of an open world. The release this year marks the long work of developing a title that brings immersive experience. Previously, Rockstar has revealed two "Red Dead Redemption 2" trailers and the scenes are absolutely marvelous. Fans can hardly wait for the video game franchise as it is reported that it is actually a prequel. The PS4 and Xbox title will highlight young Marston on a quest.

Judging from the footages, fans can expect an era during European settlers. This pretty much represents the real Wild West. And based on the leaked map, the early days will take place at the Great Plain. The previous trailer shows off prairie and canoe - hence, it can be argued that there will be boat travels in "Red Dead Redemption 2", Gamerant reported.

Ever since Rockstar released the first "Red Dead Redemption 2" trailer, there has not been any further detail that could suggest when the game will be available worldwide. Previously, the rumors pointed at Sep. 26 this year, but it has been revealed that the video game will be set for Oct. 3, Gamesradar reported.

It is an obvious that Rockstar has been putting a lot of efforts for the "Red Dead Redemption 2". It has been seven years since the initial release and from then on, leaks and information never stop circulating through the web. Before the first look of the trailer, fans were teased with banner and promotion materials that no source could confirm the legitimacy.

One bad news is that the "Red Dead Redemption 2" might not be coming to PC but rumor has it that it may have a mobile version instead. Based on the official announcement the developer did not make any mention on PC, but PlayStation 4 and Xbox One systems.
